When Kyle Anderson and his two buddies decide to explore a cave hidden within Doorman's Creek, the last thing they expected to find was a skeleton... and an unknown entity, throwing them right into the path of a serial killer. Faced with a sudden gift of visions into past and present disappearances, Kyle must now track down who the murderer is before another family member gets killed. Excerpt: Shawn jumped back, staring at the white object protruding from the earth. "Oh ***, what the?" Kyle approached and dusted off some of the dirt around it to get a better look. The boys were startled to see they had just uncovered part of a skeleton. Unsure of their next move, all three simply stared at it for several minutes, fascinated. "Is it human, Bradley?" Kyle finally asked. Among the three, Bradley was the most interested in forensics and anything to do with mysteries. And Kyle was hoping Bradley would confirm what he already suspected from the little they were able to see. Bradley crouched beside the partially exposed skeleton, inspecting it. "Not an expert, but it sure looks like it." |
