Submissions
All manuscripts must be submitted with the following format. Any that fail to meet or follow the guidelines will be automatically deleted. The only exception is for a novella for which you will submit the entire manuscript. All others must have the appropriate submission package.
Genres
Our main focus is Romance. However, we are actively seeking submissions in these genres (in no particular order of importance):
· Action-Adventure
· Fantasy
· Historical
· Horror
· Humor
· Mystery
· Paranormal
· Romance (all categories)
· Science Fiction
· Young Adult
Submission Guidelines
Regarding objectionable content, eTreasures will not consider any work that glorifies, justifies or excuses the following subject matter:
· Pedophilia
· Rape – While villains may rape it should occur off stage.
· Incest (in any form)
· Bestiality
· Necrophelia
· Fan Fiction
Everything must be submitted in RTF format as an attachment. If you fail to send it as an RTF or without a cover letter in the body of the email it will automatically be deleted.
Your submission should include:
1. Query letter, 2 - 4 page detailed synopsis and the first three chapters.
2. Book title, your name/Pen name
3. Contact information including home address, phone, and email
4. Completed manuscript word count, Genre you are submitting to.
5. 1 Inch margins, double spaced, Times New Roman, or Courier 12 font, and proper page breaks before each new chapter.
eTreasurespublishing is not accepting any of the following: gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, multiple partners, BDSM, or other alternative lifestyles romances. This is NOT a statement on morality but a preference. True Crime novels must be based on actual events, although names and places may be changed to protect innocent or lawsuits. Manuscript Lengths:
Novella - 15,000 to 30,000
Category - 30,001 to 60,000
Novel - 60,001 to 100,000
Full Length - 100,001 +
When submitting to eTreasures, we will acknowledge receipt of the submission package and subsequent manuscript promptly, within 72 hours. Please note that we ask for a 21 day exclusive on the submission package (first three chapters) and a 30-45 day (depending on length and number of submissions in house) exclusive when assessing the full manuscript. As our workload increases times may change. We will strive to notify you of our decision within those time frames. If for some reason we have not gotten back to you within 4 weeks on the submission package and 8 weeks on full manuscript, please don't hesitate to drop us a quick email. Please be sure to review our formatting guidelines for the proper way to submit your work. If you don't follow them - we will NOT look at the manuscript.
