ONLINE RESOURCES

Romance Divas – a forum for writers of all genres and
heat levels. An excellent source of help, inspiration, and
knowledge. www.romancedivas.com/forum

CataNetwork and online group that offers workshops and
other tools for writers. There are so many that I wasn’t
able to list them – without creating pages and pages,
regardless of genre, length, experience, you’ll be able to
easily find a group.

Of Ink and Quill – a google group dedicated to writers –
relatively new, but is open to writers of all sorts.
www.ofinkandquille.blogspot.com
(Registration key is on
the home page)

Kissa Karma Corner – another of the yahoo loops that
features authors.

Romance Writers of America.

Writers Circle – a forum for writers to share their stories,
ask for help, and meet others who are in the same
position. Writer's Circle. Once again is brand new – but
open.

Writer’s World – a free resource for every writer out
there containing information about marketing, research,
fiction, romance and so much more.

WRITING SOFTWARE/BACKUPS

Not sure how to start? What about using some free
writing software. There’s a number of programs out there.
Following are a few that were highly recommended to me.

YWriter – an excellent program for those who do it bit by
bit. Pretty user friendly.

Google – Yes google, if you’ve got a google account then
you can easily access their google documents, they’re a
great place to store your copy and take up less space than
a stack of CD’s, floppy disks, or USB sticks. And you
won’t lose them unless you forget your user ID and
password. With the amount of Storage and space available
– it’s a quick, free means to keep your writing safe.
