An excellent source of help, inspiration, and knowledge. www.romancedivas.com/forum CataNetwork and online group that offers workshops and other tools for writers. There are so many that I wasn’t able to list them – without creating pages and pages, regardless of genre, length, experience, you’ll be able to easily find a group. Of Ink and Quill – a google group dedicated to writers – relatively new, but is open to writers of all sorts. www.ofinkandquille.blogspot.com (Registration key is on the home page) Kissa Karma Corner – another of the yahoo loops that features authors. Romance Writers of America. Writers Circle – a forum for writers to share their stories, ask for help, and meet others who are in the same position. Writer's Circle. Once again is brand new – but open. Writer’s World – a free resource for every writer out there containing information about marketing, research, fiction, romance and so much more. www.writers-world.com WRITING SOFTWARE/BACKUPS Not sure how to start? What about using some free writing software. There’s a number of programs out there. Following are a few that were highly recommended to me. YWriter – an excellent program for those who do it bit by bit. Pretty user friendly. Google – Yes google, if you’ve got a google account then you can easily access their google documents, they’re a great place to store your copy and take up less space than a stack of CD’s, floppy disks, or USB sticks. And you won’t lose them unless you forget your user ID and password. With the amount of Storage and space available – it’s a quick, free means to keep your writing safe. BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS Following is a list of books that I’ve found to be wonderful and full of inspiration and a means of resolving problems.
