Robert Collins' first SF novel, Expert Assistance, was
published in 2007 by Asylett Press. Mr. Collins has
had stories and articles appear in periodicals such as
Tales of the Talisman; Marion Zimmer Bradley's
Fantasy Magazine; Pyramid; The Fifth Di...; Wild
West; Model Railroader; Chronicle of the Old West;
and the Wichita Eagle. In 2007 Pelican Publishing
released his biography of the Bleeding Kansas leader
Senator Jim Lane , titled Jim Lane : Scoundrel,
Statesman, Kansan.

In 2005 Pelican published his biography of a Kansas
Civil War general, James G. Blunt: Tarnished Glory.
He's had six Kansas railroad books published by
South Platte Press, including Kansas Railroad
Attractions and Ghost Railroads of Kansas. Presently
he lives in Andover , Kansas , and is a member of the
Kansas Center for the Book and the Society of
Midland Authors.
